Terms and Conditions
While we do not like to impose overly-complex terms on our
guests, there are a few conditions which we politely ask you to respect.
Upon booking, we will normally ask you to provide credit / debit
card details as a deposit. Owing to the volume
of bookings we receive, it has become necessary to charge for part
of the cost of the stay in the case of a late cancellation (within 48
hours of stated arrival time) or a 'no-show'. These charges are as
follows:
- Cancellation within 48 hours of stated
arrival time:
- For a one night stay - half the cost of the
room.
- For a stay of two or more nights - the full
cost of the first night.
- Not fulfilling your booking and not
notifying us
of this:
- The full cost of the first night's stay and
the
cancellation of the rest of your booking. If you are unable to fulfil
any part of your booking, we would urge you to contact us in advance.
For bookings made during major events where demand for rooms is
high, such as the major
Cheltenham race meetings or the VSCC Prescott weekend, deposits will be
taken and are non-refundable for cancellations made less than 28 days
prior to the start of the event or the start of the booking, whichever
is sooner.
Regrettably we no longer accept dogs (except guide dogs, by
arrangement only) following a recent
incident involving a guest's dog and one of our own.
We reserve the right during the high season not to take single night single room bookings, particularly over weekends.
We are a small Bed and Breakfast on a working farm, where the guest rooms are in our house and not in a separate building with a separate entrance. Unlike hotels and larger guest houses the accommodation we offer is secondary to the farm and we do not have any paid staff. Therefore in order to allow us to carry out our work, we require guests to vacate their rooms by 10.30 in the mornings and return from 5.00 in the evenings. There is plenty to see and do in the area, and we are delighted to spend time helping you plan your daily itinerary, give advice and provide maps and guides for you to use when you are here.
Children must be supervised at all times.
